The tournament, organized by the Asd Bardolino Champions Cup with the sponsorship and collaboration of the Municipal Administration of the city of Bardolino and ASD Baldo Junior Team of Cavaion Veronese – a company that groups together 5 youth sectors in the area including those of Bardolino – will take place on 8/9/10th May 2026 at the Municipal Sports Center

Competition for an Overseas Scholarship organized and sponsored by Lions Club International through the L.C. Garda Benacus Service, the De Gustibus Association, the Hoteliers’ Association, and the Bardolino Champions Cup, at the Scuola Alberghiera Istituto I.P.S.A.R Luigi Carnacina in Bardolino.
Eligible participants include deserving students from both the culinary arts and food service sectors. Start time: 10:00 AM.

Starting at 6:00 PM, a press conference will be held to present the tournament to political, sports, and social authorities at the terrace of the PARC HOTEL GERMANO SUITES & APARTMENTS in Bardolino. Followed by a buffet/aperitif.

The 11th International Preliminary Tournament – Memorial A. Gianfranceschi and A. Gradizzi will take place, featuring 30 teams, including 13 international ones and 19 professional teams. The winner will advance to the Città di Bardolino – Memorial Helena and Germano Chincherini The complete program is available at this link.
Friday, 8 May 2026
In the afternoon, all teams will arrive and be accommodated in 16 hotels in Bardolino.
6:30 PM: In Piazza Preonda, along the lakeside, opening evening with a show by the Freestyling Team Italia school, led by world champion Davide Pisani.
7:30 PM:Awards ceremony for outstanding students of the local Scuola Alberghiera Istituto I.P.S.A.R. di Bardolino, selected by a special committee, with the granting of a contribution by the local section of Lions Club International for participation in the international competition.
8:00 PM: Parade and presentation of all teams in the square by the lake and in front of the Town Hall, accompanied by the anthems of each club. An exchange of greetings and pennants with the Municipal Administration will take place. A large stage and a giant screen will be set up in Piazzetta Preonda. Conclusion with the UEFA Champions League anthem and continued entertainment by the Freestyling Team Italia school.
9:30 PM: Technical meeting with all coaches and delegation leaders at the conference hall of PARC HOTEL GRITTI. A welcome reception will follow.
Saturday, 9 May 2026
8:45 AM: Kick-off of qualification group matches until 12:00 noon.
12:00 PM: 1:30 PM: Lunch at various restaurants in the town and/or food stands.
1:35 PM: Gathering of all teams at Villa Bottagisio Park along the lakeside.
1:45 PM: Start of the parade through the historic town center to the sports complex, with the participation of the local Junior Band.
2:15 PM: Welcome address by the Mayor and performance of the Italian National Anthem.
2:30 PM: Matches resume until 8:30 PM
Sunday, 10 May 2026
8:30 AM: Kick-off of further qualification matches, followed by semifinal groups.
12:15 PM – 1:15 PM: Lunch.
2:35 PM: Continuation of semifinals and finals.
4:15 PM: Grand Final.
5:20 PM: Award ceremony on the pitch.
6:00 PM: Departure of teams, with farewell and see you in 2026.

Farewell and departure of all international teams from the airports and stations of Venice, Bergamo, Verona, and Milan.
All teams will play no fewer than 10 or 12 matches.
A total of 111 matches will be played, for an overall playing time of 2,025 minutes, equal to 37 hours of play.
Overall, 800 players and 200 coaches/team officials will take part.
More than 5,000 spectators are expected, including parents, relatives, friends, and other attendees.
Several articles will be published in the daily newspaper L’Arena, along with multiple reports on Tele Arena, Tele Nord Est, and RAI 3 Veneto.
